Inka works full-time in the wildlife film industry as an Assistant Producer at Wild Space Productions on "Our Oceans," a prestigious natural history series commissioned by Netflix. During this project, she field-directed sequences in every type of ocean ecosystem, ranging from the deep sea to the poles, tropical reefs, and the open ocean. Inka also takes on roles as a presenter and underwater camera operator. Her exceptional work in the film industry was recognized in 2022 when she was accepted into the ScreenSkills High-End TV Leaders of Tomorrow program. Passionate about making impactful documentaries, Inka is dedicated to bringing ocean stories to a global audience.
She also utilizes film in her independent projects to communicate complex marine topics with the general public. Recent projects included a collaboration with Playing the Field and WWF to face a new deep sea mining awareness campaign ‘Think Deeply’ and hosting World Ocean Day for schools which was viewed by thousands of students around the world. Past projects have included exploring the UK’s kelp forests, creating a kid's guide to rock pools with the Marine Conservation Society, and filming the UKs elusive blue shark populations. Her first independent film ‘My 25: The Ocean Between Us’ released in 2019 highlighted coral reef restoration and MPA success stories around the Caribbean and Central Pacific and was screened at several international film festivals.

Inka has been a published author of several articles focusing on marine conservation issues, lending her expertise and passion to mainstream media channels such as Only One, Good Housekeeping, PADI, and Intersectional Environmentalist. Her written work reflects a deep commitment to raising awareness and advocating for the preservation of our oceans and garnered recognition from Shondaland, where she was featured as one of five women defending the ocean.
Inka has contributed to three influential books published in 2023 —"The Ocean and Us," an overview of our contemporary understanding of the ocean and how our lives interact with it. "Women and Water," documenting the stories of 40 women and their connections to the ocean, and "For the Love of the Sea II." a cookbook celebrating sustainable recipes. Through her literary work, Inka shares profound insights, fostering a greater understanding of marine conservation and inspiring action for the well-being of our oceans.

In addition to her dedication to the science behind marine life, Inka has always harbored a profound passion for photography. Believing that showing the magnificence of the ocean is as crucial as explaining it, she emphasizes the unique storytelling power of photography. her underwater photography gained her recognition as an Adobe Rising Star of 2021. Inka is available for photography assignments and creating digital assets for brands.

OUTREACH
Inka is deeply committed to outreach and education, volunteering her time and expertise to inspire and empower the next generation of conservationists. She serves as a host for World Ocean Day for Schools, an initiative that reaches over 32,000 students in 26 countries.
In addition, Inka continues to develop engaging educational content for school talks and workshops, bringing the wonders of the ocean into classrooms around the globe. Her efforts aim to inspire and educate students about the importance of ocean conservation, nurturing a new generation of passionate and informed ocean advocates.

Inka also actively participates in Girls Who Click, an organization dedicated to empowering teen girls to enter the male-dominated field of nature photography and use their work to further conservation efforts around the world. As a partner photographer, Inka runs free workshops on underwater nature photography and videography, acts as a mentor in the Girls Who Click Ambassador Mentorship Program, and helps young photographers develop their portfolios while fostering a supportive community within the industry.
