Photo Gallery
In addition to the science behind marine life, photography has always been a great passion of mine. Sometimes telling someone why something is magnificent and needs to be protected isn’t enough, they need to be shown. Photography creates a unique aid in storytelling, captivating moments that would otherwise go unseen which allows people to gain experiences they would not have previously had an opportunity to be exposed to. Photography provides an engaging resource that can be used to illustrate interactions between humans and nature, assisting in the education and inspiration of future marine biologists and conservationists.

Photos for Conservation
Using photography as a tool to educate and conserve
Many of the photos you will see in my gallery were taken in collaboration with different research teams. Photography is a beautiful tool that can be used to educate the general public and introduce people to secret lives of animals below the surface. Many of my photos are also used for individual identification allowing us to monitor movements of individuals and when paired with satalite tags creates a powerfull conservation tool.
